Glasgow Sculpture Studios carry out artist fabrication producing sculptural pieces, bespoke furniture, interiors, prototypes and props. In addition they have open access workshops and offer a range of classes and courses. Glasgow Sculpture Studios was originally set up in 1988 as a small artist run studio space. It has grown over the years and is now one of the leading centers for sculpture production in the UK. The work of Glasgow Sculpture Studios comprises of three main sections; membership to the space, artistic program, and the commercial fabrication that they carry out. The commercial arm of their business allows them to subsidise and support a community of professional artists.
